what are your thoughts and opinions on the proposed shut down and march? will it help? do you support it? Zuma needs steeping down, is this the way to enforce it? the government are saying Friday is work as usual and a shutdown will destroy the fragile economy ![]() |

Zuma is our president.. he had a major cabinet reshuffle, axed our finance minister Pravin Gordhan who was doing a great job, and thanks to all this, we have now been downgraded to junk status. this is just the latest tho. the straw that seems to have broken the camel's back

It's really quite inspirational for today's young people ..that being corrupt, crazy and greedy doesn't debar you from the highest offices of the world .. I take it SA doesn't have impeachment laws written in to the constitution. .. |

Only a handful of people within the ANC have the power to remove Zuma and they're not committed just yet. It's still a game of wait and see for now. Social unrest might push further towards it but that has to be on a massive scale, not some protest on a Friday where everyone secretly just wants a long weekend out of it.

@ bambi99 - 4.04.17 - 10:14am It's really quite inspirational for today's young people ..that being corrupt, crazy and greedy doesn't debar you from the highest offices of the world .. I take it SA doesn't have impeachment laws written in to the constitution. .. We do, procedure has to be followed. It's easier to get the party to recall the president though because then you don't have to go through the whole long legal process. The president before Zuma was recalled before his term was up and an interim president appointed until the next election. It's similar to the UK where the party elects the PM, not the people. It becomes an internal party matter to recall the president. |

the only man on street who still supports Zuma himself are the total idiots, and higher up, the corrupt.... same as how the total idiots think this junk status won't affect them. nb, i am talking abt Zuma not the ANC as a whole...

What if it's someone just like him who comes along next? What's the point if it's the same thing over and over again?

if this is left, allowed, then we will have another Zuma or worse. which is why we need to show it wont be allowed or tolerated.

It will take more pain for people to stand up. Non payment of social grants could have done it.
