The creaters of soap Operas often say they like to have story lines and content that the viewers can relate to... If that's true then how come we never see someone in a soap opera opening and closing the fridge door really slowly for 20 minutes to try and see the light going out?... We've all done it so why don't they?.. C'mon scriptwriters, a bit more realism please... |

Also in soap Operas when you see someone having a shave they just shave it all off in one go... They never leave themselves a little Hitler moustache to see what it looks like as most normal people do, before finishing the job off...

And I don't remember the last time I saw some bloke in a soap opera go to the toilet and see how far back he can get from the urinal or pinch his foreskin together so it all blows up like a balloon while having a piss....

Why do you never see them watching random sh*t on YouTube? Why don't they have supermarkets? Why do they conduct their entire lives within a three minute radius of the place they live? Why don't they constantly have their phones in their hands? Why don't they swear? Why don't they get drunk more? Why do I care when i don't watch any of them?

Soaps are horrible, representing real life? What a life that'd be. Life's fun! It's interesting, it's funny. When have you ever watched a soap like that? The success of sitcoms like Friends, and the fools at Eastenders or Coronation Street still don't get it after all these years. These programmes could be inspiring - they're only inspiring to gutter life. |
