@ robert555 - 7.11.20 - 11:10am I doubt if kids today would know what a quill is, so why would they need a pen knife I doubt most adults today would even realise that that's why they were called 'pen' knives. Although these days the term 'pen knife' is often used to describe all sorts of small pocket/utility knives that aren't actual pen knives, eg, Swiss Army knives are often incorrectly referred to as being a type of pen knife. |
