I find the best time of year to make pancakes is the week after pancake day, when all the shops are flogging off all the pancakey ingredients and topping stuff they overstocked with during the big marketing push in the run up to pancake day. I quite like those lazy instant pancake batter mixes, where you just add milk to the powder in the bottle and give it a shake, they're always on special offer just afterwards. |
