Darn excursion bus could've gone to Monaco too! ![]() So I'm thinking.. I visit Grenoble on the French Alps and then on to Monaco. No need going back to Genova on the Italian side of the border. |

Or if you prefer to take your boat... To moor in one of the world's most expensive marinas during high season, a superyacht owner can be expected to pay up to 4,130 per night, and during prime time events such as theMonacoGrand Prix rates can skyrocket to 100,000 or more for a five-day stay in Monaco'sprime berths... |

It was crowded and very busy when I went. I might consider going back to watch a Grand Prix one day, especially if I had a very expensive yacht in the harbour to watch it from but it's not a great place to visit just for a day and was a bit of a let down really, in comparison with the rest of the cote d'azure. There's an ordinary , plain looking little cafe near the marina where we stopped and bought 2 coffees and an ice cream, they were nice but nothing extraordinary, so I nearly died when I got the bill for 47 euros ![]() |
