@ eyesore - 18.08.19 - 07:20am Apparently micro dosing is good for you as well What, with bleach? Says who? Homeopathic medicines are another totally pseudoscientific hokum, any effects that they may appear to have are proven to be entirely down to the placebo effect. |

Wasn't the type of micro-dosing you mentioned, being properly trialed as a treatment for some kind of mental health issue? Not sure if it was Dementia, Parkinson's or Schizophrenia, something like that anyway. Not really the same thing as telling people that drinking bleach is a miracle cure. |

They call it MMS. Or the Miracle Mineral Solution. And tout it as a cure for all ills. It's actually a type of industrial bleach.

Not that I'm aware of. It's a writer with clinical depression who experimented with it ...took a tenth of a tab at a time ...reckons it cleared his depression.....https://www.google.com/url?sa=tsource=webrct=jurl=https://www.telegraph.co.uk/health-fitness/mind/changed-life-microdosing- /amp/ved=2ahUKEwj-wPr68IvkAhWQRBUIHfxkAgkQFjAAegQIARABusg=AOvVaw1V7G0620nO3wKukc2bXJHiampcf=1.....

Oh right. One guy's experience of experimenting on himself, which obviously does not constitute a rigorously conducted scientific trial. |

@ mikeymk - 18.08.19 - 07:07am You need to stop reading The Guardian. Seriously. From the above article: 'The Guardian asked Mark Grenon why he was peddling a potentially dangerous chemical to residents of New York state under the pretext that it was a miracle cure. He replied by email that ''you and your Guardian newspaper are just puppets of the evil players of this world like the Murdoch/Rothschild families!''* ' The group selling this MMS call themselves Genesis** II Ministries. * Uh oh, starting to sound a lot like like another snake oil salesman Alex Jones. ** Genesis Communications Network/Genesis media group, are the companies behind Jones' and Infowars. I'm sure that's probably just a co-incidence though... ![]() |
