@ eyesore - 6.04.20 - 04:02pm Four more weeks I reckon. Not riots just complete public disobedience I don't know about ''complete'' but at least some small localised disturbance. The neds and plebs will no doubt get restless at some point and do some damage, send in the troops with baton rounds and they'll soon behave... |

This weekend will be a flash point especially if the weather is nice. Lots of fkwits out yesterday never seen so many bikes and the 2 parks I drive past were full by 11 am . my prediction is lockdown till September at the earliest ![]() |

@ 3mel - 6.04.20 - 04:17pm parks will probably get locked up this weekend I think they're reluctant to lock the parks just yet. But read earlier that they have banned sunbathing in parks... |

At least you're still allowed to buy alcohol and cigarettes. Our government seems to want to provoke civil unrest. And there's talk about it going till August. At that point unleashing the virus would be a mercy. |

We would destroy ourselves with a six month plus lockdown |

@ recurve16 - 6.04.20 - 04:09pm I don't know about ''complete'' but at least some small localised disturbance. The neds and plebs will no doubt get restless at some point and do some damage, send in the troops with baton rounds and they'll soon behave... It won't just be neds out on the streets if this goes on to long |

@ eyesore - 6.04.20 - 05:36pm You ain't allowed alcohol or ciggies in South Africa? No, not 'essential goods.' They're cordoned off in the big chains and they're not loaded on to the tills anyway. You can still get on the black market but prices are reaching 4 times normal last I heard. And of course you risk being locked up if you're caught buying or selling them. We have also never been allowed the jogging or dog walking allowances you have been. Unless you have a permit or can prove you're shopping into the police van you go. |

They must be insane , being Africa I'm surprised they get away with it . I don't know what would happen if you did that in Europe |

@ eyesore - 6.04.20 - 05:41pm They must be insane , being Africa I'm surprised they get away with it . I don't know what would happen if you did that in Europe It's boiling under the surface here, the black market sales have tempered it a bit but people are going to run out of money for that never mind the basics. It's going to be mass disobedience soon and that is when you'll see police and soldiers burning in the streets. I really hope they ease up soon for all our sakes. |
