You dont have to answer this but are any of you key workers getting extra pay?
|

@tranie | 21 April 20 | |
No

imagine working in a fast food restaurant, your pay isn't that great to start with. some places in America have told staff they CAN'T wear masks as it would upset customers. they're on strike now |

@ 3mel - 21.04.20 - 11:19am you should have masks, lots of key workers should too. any normal job shouldn't require people to be risking their life without their pay and conditions reflecting that. The problem with masks is if you don't wear one 24 - 7 then its useless. What happens when you eat or drink, you take the mask off and are vulnerable. The mayor wants everyone boarding a bus to wear a mask. Most do some don't, I don't wear a mask |

No defo not, but glad to be out of certain parts of lockdown. Almost a semi normal life, and still looking forward to the weekends off.

the way I see it the masks most people are using don't guarantee to protect you. they can deal with some types of exposure like coughed water droplets, so they make you safer but not safe period. I'll take that over nothing at all. I'd open the doors and all the windows at your stand, air out the bus and eat my sandwich outside. |

some jobs involve dealing with the public and whatever they've decided is OK.
