I went out for drinks a couple weeks ago, it was fine. As long as you/the pub is following safety regulations. The place we went to was pretty empty and we had to order through an app

I've been to a pub twice since they reopened first time a Wednesday and it was really nice we sat outside had a few pints some nachos the next time was a Saturday but it was mobbed again we sat outside but there were too many people moving around visiting other tables one guy put his arms around my sister from behind and kissed her cheek I went mental at him told him to gtf eventually he got told to leave as he just kept going from table to table. Not been in a pub since and no intentions to go again anytime soon.

I wouldn't take a 75 year old to the pub unless I was in line to inherit, then I might

I went to an indoor play park, meeting another parent. She's my stepdaughter's mate, so our kids are close. We sat there, no masks, enjoying a chat whilst our kids played. Our table had a 6-person maximum. What struck me the most about the situ was the level of guaging. It doesn't matter what you think of the rules. The situ at any given time gives a big picture. Time will tell if there becomes a link between us. I'm down with this. I'll abide with the rules in the belief that it's the right thing. I haven't got to deal with the work involved. |

At the end of the day, this thing kills old people. And it's a sad state of affairs when younger, fitter people don't care, for whatever their reasons, and help spread it about. Because if the shoe was on the other foot, and old people were immune, they'd be doing everything they can to protect the rest of us.

Young, old, unfit or fit, the virus does not care about any of it, many young fit people have died due to it . Some people are so stupid..sheep that have no sence, just because a pub or food outlet opens or a gym it does not mean you have to be a mindless zombie and chant BORIS SAID I CAN GO SO I MUST GO. its the people that moan about lockdowns ect that will moan like hell if they get covid so we all have to suck it up, if you cant see family of friends so what? Better to protect people dont you think?

@ mikeymk - 21.09.20 - 04:37am At the end of the day, this thing kills old people. Because if the shoe was on the other foot, and old people were immune, they'd be doing everything they can to protect the rest of us. I know some old people in the high risk category who would rather take the risk and enjoy their final days than live like prisoners. It's all about perspective. Too much emphasis is placed on quantity of life rather than quality. |
