Just started in America, charged with 2nd and 3rd degree murder. Could get up to 40 years in jail. CCTV showed him kneeling on George floyd's neck for over 9 minutes despite him saying numerous times that he can't breathe. Shocking. Hope he gets a long time in jail |

I hope he gets a fair trial and not a show trial. Jurors already mentioning societal pressure. I've heard one of the prosecutions first witnesses is also a BLM rioter.

Even with that Kim I think the evidence is overwhelmingly against him

People need to remember this is the trial of Derek Chauvin and not the trial of George Floyd. Already reading people say 'If George could speak then he could breath. |

The CCTV evidence is more than enough for me

@ 9362 - 30.03.21 - 08:41am The CCTV evidence is more than enough for me That alone doesn't prove the case. It may end up being a big part of it, but in isolation without hearing further arguments in a trial it isn't enough at this time. |

The dude is gonna be hung out to dry, in a show trial. Theres no way on earth hes gonna be found not guilty. Too many riots will happen if he is found not guilty.

There just needs to be one juror who stands on principle and actually applies the law but some of them already mentioned public pressure, which should have been an automatic disqualification. I think the defense might have some confidence in one or two of them.

It's pretty standard when a known drug user , especially when you've just seen them sw*llow drugs , to have their throat restricted . I've seen it in the uk , suspects held against the wall/floor with a truncheon across their throat |

during control and restraint proceedures, its usual for there to be a head man, a person who's soul purpose is to make sure the person being controlled can breath, when the restrainee is on the floor, you ask them which side they would like their head facing, so they would be more comfortable. Unfortunatly not all C and R proceedures go the text book way.

Lol asking these animals which way they would like their head facing. I suspect the authors of the procedures have never been near that type of situation never mind actually doing it.

you lay on, grab, kneel on, kick, punch, or what ever you need to do. Untill the suspect is either unconcious or has ran out of steam, there is no time limit. I have been involved in a few C and R's lasting 2 or 3 hours, on average a C and R would last 15/20 mins. The quicker the suspect yeilds, the quicker it can be over for everyone involved.

I was part of the C and R team for a year or 2, before every operation the only orders my boss would give us, was do what needs to be done, to get the job done.
