So,why would someone tell me they are messaging from a mates number when they have a new number of their own? They obviously can receive messages on WhatsApp on the new number..so why not text their mum on WhatsApp?

I didn't really judge them tbh. I just wondered if I was reading too much into it. Also I didn't want to think someone was in peril. I replied 'You have the wrong number,this isn't your mum.

It's a popular scam. I've seen examples of people replying to drag it out and wind them up

If you get PIP; can we all have a borrow from it? About 1200 quid a month for doing fk all! My elbow is sore. Can I have  1200, so I don't have to go back to work in September.I want some of this free money! |
