Technically you got vaccinated against specific strains / variants that are different each year. They mostly have numbered names too and ''the flu'' is just a commoner's term that slaps them all together...

@ obi_jon - 13.12.22 - 01:03pm Thankfully in my case it wasn't anything more serious but it took them nearly 3yrs after I first went to the doctors to say ''do you think I might have kidney stones?'' before I was finally diagnosed with actually having kidney stones. I've heard that's seriously painful |

@ eyesore - 13.12.22 - 02:49pm I've heard that's seriously painful You heard correctly, i'd never experienced pain anything like as bad before I got them. Put it like this, i've spoken to a few women who told me they'd rather go through childbirth again than have another kidney stone. My first one had grown to 12mm before they found it and had got stuck inside my kidney, which was basically tearing everytime I moved too much. So that was fun |

They can't tell me what causes them either, because nobody actually knows. They know the process by which they form but not what actually causes it. They're actually a build up of calcium, which once led them to believe it was due to too much dairy produce in the diet but this has since been found not to be the case.

I gave up cheese for over a year, just to see for myself if it made any difference. It didn't and I still ended up getting another one(my third), so I started eating it again with no further ill effects that i've noticed. You can still get them even if you're lactose intolerant and never eat dairy products, while some people eat practically nothing but dairy products their whole lives and never get them. |

Had it in October. Fortunately, I only needed to have one day off work. |

No, no jabs, nothing, absolutely fine as always. My nipples might be out the door these days but that's about it.
