@ ladibud - 18.01.23 - 08:12am I'm good.. don't trust BMI and neither the scale's reading either, it can't tell the different between fat and muscle. if you want to weigh, get a scale that tells you your weight, BMI, muscle mass, water percentage etc, i have one of those. it's better than just a weight scale, so you see when your water weight or muscle mass has changed. Better way to check your healthy weight /size I measure your waist. your waist should n half of your height. if it's more, make a plan and eat less, move more, do weights Eat less(mostly plants), exercise more. Pretty much the only reliable and effective way to lose weight/keep fit. |

According to my gp Im overweight although Im 6ft 4 and 14 stone . I got any lighter I would resemble a death camp victim

Thing is, you decide to lose weight, get fit, go to the gym.. Start on the scales. Then work your asre off for 6 months. The scales are showing little difference. Morally breaking you down, suggesting it ain't worth it, and you're getting nowhere. Yet you've lost loads of fat, and have a more muscular frame hidden underneath. But the change is slow, so you don't see it. |
