Climate change is very real. It's true that it's always been happening but what deniers seem to ignore is how fast it is happening due to human actions. Industrial revolution etc.
We are increasing the speed of it.

Then we have idiots with their ''drill baby drill'' mentality who actually don't care about the complete destruction of the natural world around us.

It's funny, America was really the birthplace of modern conservation.. many beautiful places are preserved there because of that. It would be a shame to see it all go.

Many years ago I stated how impressed I was at just how much damage man has done since the start of the industrial revolution.

And I remember a conversation in a pub with some mates back in the 90s where I said we needed to use new-found technology and knowledge to 'jump the river' from unsustainable living to sustainable.

I still feel exactly the same. I feel this way about the planet because I live here. And so will future generations. And if they can't, then there's not much point us being here now, is there.

There weren't billions of humans to feed billions of years ago. It's our own survival we should be worried about now.

Arguably the worst extinction event was known as The Great Dying, I can imagine such a thing being triggered. We already decimate the environment, animal and plant life. It just needs a small push and everything will be gone. Everything as we know it.

temperature rises in the sea will effect our largest source of oxygen production. billions of years ago there wasn't the same make up of gases in the air. when it changed to what we have now there was a die-off of existing life.

it has happened 5 times on this planet where life went thru a massive change, almost everything living died and only species that could adapt or cope remained.
only one time was it caused by an asteroid.

In my experience it is just used for wealth distribution. It is done by politicians here who happen to have invested in wind energy and they make us pay for it. Yet they allow all the forest to be cut down on a rapid rate. They are all grifters or scammers wether the climate is changing or not.

just because politicians use it as an excuse to raise new forms of taxation doesn't mean massive changes aren't going to happen.

My point is if they really cared about the planet and it sustaining us they would preserve the nature and stop warmongering. It is the trees that neutralise co2 not solar panels. You had Bill Gates say the solution is to cut down the trees and install solar panels lol. Should focus on preserving our echosystem not our greed.

Is it not odd that this particular event of the world heating up coincides with humans burning fossil fuels like it's going out of fashion? The it's happened before is such a lazy arguement. I've no idea if it's true or not btw, happy to let the scientists who know what they're talking about decide. If humans do nothing in the foreseeable, in 60 years we're either going to look very stupid or have a huge chip on our shoulder.

Trusting scientists who are funded by corporations and lobbyists is like trusting in politicians tho. The information can be steered in a beneficial way always. Im not saying there is no climate change im saying trusting in paid ppl is dumb. Scientist or not they should not be blindly trusted either. If they were right about the covid vaccines we would all be dead who did not get injected the rushed out experimental drug like it is the greatest thing lol. The way they approach this issue is half arsed just to milk the tax payers.

Which scientists tho? Those funded big big pharma and green energy corporations? Being a useful tool is no way forward either. We need to stop destroying our nature if we want to have it sustain us. Not fearmongering the poor to give to the rich.
