I've read the phrase uttered by a shaman that the spirit is the mind in it's purest form which kinda scans with the modern interpretation and usage of the word. I find the notion that our presence here is no more than a chemical accident a little defeatist and probably very deep down fear driven. for anything beyond such a view to possible something of us must endure beyond the psychical... |

Interesting take on it mel. I think some people feel spirit and soul are the same thing,or that the soul is some form of eternal personality that is the true ''me''.

not sure which is which... soul i'd say is ur personality, ur thoughts, feelings, beliefs... Spirir is what lives on long after u have gone.

everyone got soul but few got spirit.spirit has got to do with your relationship with God.Non believers are said to be spiritually dead.
