With a great pleasure I want 2to inform all of u that, after a long times experiment I have succeed 2make my own theme(.nth) with my mobile without PC. I am 100 percent successfull and have made 5 themes which are working very well. |

For this u have 2 download three applications in your mobile, they are Moby Explorer, PaintCAD and Jzipman. Then I will xplain the steps one by one.

At first...make a copy of any theme of your mobile with MobyExplorer and paste it in a new folder(any name). Then change the extension of the theme from NTH to ZIP.

Then...open that pasted theme with the JZIPMAN. It will show a list of files. Now from the option menu choose SELECT ALL and then press the EXTRACT button. It will take some time. After it finishes, close the JZIPMAN and go to that new folder and u will see many images,some tones,some unsupported files are there.

Then...identify the wallpaper, tone, background image, screensaves etc from that folder which are used in that theme. Now u can change the objects from that folder with ur preferred images and tones...

For example suppose u find a JPG file named menu_bg.jpg in that folder which was used as menu background image. At first paste a copy of any JPG file and paste in that folder which u want 2use as menu background. Now delete the menu_bg.jpg file and rename the newly pasted file as menu_bg.jpg

Just like this, replace any files in that folder that u want 2change. Remember one thing that before deleting a file u must not forget its name, coz u have to give same name for the new inserted file. Now delete the old theme file which u have renamed its ext as ZIP.

Then...open JZIPMAN and go inside that folder. Now scroll over all the files in that folds and press the select button on every file. Note that u will not see any changes when u press the select button. After finishing all the files, open the option menu and click the on the LIST button. U will see a list of all files u have selected.

Now...again press the option menu and select the PACK button. Then it will show a path of saving file. Change only the .zip to .nth and keep other names unchanged. Then press OK. It will take some time 2pack. After packing finished it will show an alert like TIME REMAINS x x x. Ignore that and close the application.

Now...go 2that folder and u will see a new theme that u have made. Now u can use that theme any time. Enjoy...

For first time, u may have some problems, errors, failures, difficulties because it is a long process. But keep trying with my navigation and soon u will be able to make your own theme containing everything u want in a theme. Pls ask me any questions if any problem occurs and I will try 2help u. I'm not a frequent browser so ans may come late.

Link of JzipMAN http://piligrim.wapland.org/JZipMan.jar I will give PaintCAD link later. Coz i hav2 search 4that. Anyway u dont need2 have PaintCAD for initial creation. U can start with MobyExplorer and Jzipman.

Hey jUPITER brother,i am trying but having problem.please help me.please.please.you said to open the pasted file with the JZIPMAN.how i can do that???when i go to that new folder containing the .zip file,i can see just one file,not a list of files like you said.also there is no option of 'SELECT ALL' or 'EXTRACT'.i think i can do all the other things but i cant solve this problem.please help me.i am waiting.i like you brother,because i was also waiting for this time to come when i can create

If u have a s60 phone you can create the theme more quicker and faster ..Simply just send your .nth theme to your s60 phone then go to file explorer copy it from inbox paste it anywher and rename the .nth to .zip then open the file it will show u all the contents and extract all using handyzip to any folder ..Then replace which images or backgrounds u wanna put then go back to handyzip and extract

All files from that same folder make sure the folder name is the same as your theme.. then send it to your s40 phone and go to moby explorer and rename the ext to .nth and there u have it u have created the theme...

andre why u r trying 2be over smart. This is a s40 forum and very few of us have a spare s60 phone like u. I'm just trying2 help s40 users and why u want2 spoil everything.
