when i try to update software ie; ovi maps (navigation), i get the error, not enough memory, delete some memory or something along those lines. How do i free up some memory on c drive? Format? How? And what do i lose? I have latest FW. Thanks. |

Clear you inbox, also make sure that nothing is installed on c drive.

have cleared inbox, that only gave me 0.2mb as there wasn,t much init. All files on C are empty, as in music, images, videos, games, etc. The only other files in there are things like, plugin archive, audio controller, etc. I guess these need to be there?

Go to software update in programs and you will find a program that transfer all data from phone memo to mass. Try it.

mike, is that memory reorganiser 1.0? i already did that. I have 3.2mb left on C. What are my options? In simple terms tho pls. lol.

Ovi store installs 2 c and takes up a lot of room. Check yr app mngr 2 c wats installed @c. If there's nothing u'd need 2 keep then a format will sort it after backing up wat u want need like contacts etc

As ive said before, this is a VERY common N97 issue, and Memory Reorganiser was Nokia's only fix, well, sort of, didnt do much it seems. I suggest clearing your Web browserz cache, make sure all messages are stored in mass memory, and just try to ease up on the apps, otherwise format,but you'l be bk in the same situation at sum point in the near future.
