since i took my 5800 in afta a failed update to 50.0 its been restarting itself when i'm on the net.i'm too scared to take it back as they might damahe it more.is fw 51 stable? |

Mine restarts whilest playing music,on V51 fw, and whilest web browsing, but overall v51 is more stable than v50.

Probably its memory related issue :-) try to install the app RAMBLOW :-) SEARCH for it here it'd clean up and free up useful ram for extensive browsing or multimedia apps

Cant be memory,plus i've got ram blower n swiss manager pro.was also thinking of instaling the c6 cfw,but then i'll lose my warranty,got 1 year left of that.

Yep definetly cant be RAM related. Ive never been able to figure out why it reboots so randomly, even while it has 50mb RAM, if im listening to music for example the phone wil just cut the music, freeze, and then the screen fades and it reboots, or sumtimes it just shutsdown, althou that seems to have been fixed in v51. Id suggest doing a format abott, i hardly use my 5800 anymore so im nt botherd, bt i thnk a format could fix this. So update to v51,then format to gv u a fresh start to the new f

Make sure you back up Contacts, Calendar, Messages and Notes, and let the rest be cleared.

I never had a problem with v50.  I do like the v51 though, as my normal browser doesn't cut out any more.
