plug in to a computer that has nokia pc suite or ovi suite installed and launch nokia software updater. you could mention wat firmware it has now so other could say if that was the latest or not for u.

not on that fone. on the standby screen type star hash 0000 hash and post wat it tells you here. chances are cos its an old fone already that you have the latest made firmware for it already and there's nothing to update it with.

if you got a nokia service centre nearby they'll do it for you if you cant get to a pc.
