i have pre booked with shacky hands and heavy heart nokia 808. U guys think will symbian belle keep getting big updates and make my user experience bit close to ios or android. I have to give up on apps as no devloper will write for crippled platform. It took me a lot to convince myself to get symbian handset.. Guys do y u have some good to say on my decision to come back to symbian |

What difference will belle FP2 make.. I hope it at lease have a decent browser as Symbian browser keeps crashing and is slow and opera mobile stucks..

umm Nokia fones have never gone from one feature pack to another, there will be carla and donna updates for the 808. but they will not make you think your using an apple device nor an android. if you buy this fone dont turn up here biitching about it. and how your so unhappy with it.

that means symbian is totally different from android. its designed to be a low resource using os, android isn't. the basic kernel of symbian is over 15 old so its never going to be as slick and flashy as android or ios. if thats important to you, then get a fone that caters to your taste. all your bellyaching is annoying already before you've even picked up the fone. be sure you wont continue moaning once you have it if your not going to listen to others.

if you want a fast loading browser then go for opera mini in sis format. even dedicated android users still use it in their native format version. i use it more than the full opera mobile myself.

I use opera mini next on my GS2, never thought i'd like mini again until next arrived, and then when i need to do serious web browsing e.g. when im browsing pages like Facebook's desktop version then i use the built-in android browser, but opera mini is great for daily moderate browsing and posting here and there. :)

If you dont like Symbian dont fxcking buy it. Symbian is a totally different experience, you've used it before judging by your SN if you didnt like so be it. If you want an Android experience buy a Android device. End of story. And I KNOW, I KNOW you want the 808 for the camera, so buy it and get over it.

they're not likely to go to the trouble of making these updates if they didn't enhance the fones getting them. but thats not going to make them a match to other platforms. if that was feasible, it would have happened before now.

I canceled my preorder and m going for iphone 4s. @3mei dnt frgt belle is close to android so it gave me hope anyway its big risk to opt for symbian. Symbian is dead
