i am thinking about it, but thinking is as far as it goes without the funds. it's gorgeous but a powerhouse at the same time.

Yeah,it looks awesome Mel. I would like to get one but then again i would kind of resent having to pay 570 quid for it. Oddly enough i have no interest at all in the S7 Edge.

I'm on my 2nd S7 edge, 1st one I'd had it 14 days and it started dropping calls or wouldn't connect calls it then started turning itself off and wouldn't turn back on unless plugged into a charger even though it had 88 percent battery power, it would then reset itself back to Jan 1st 1970 and the calendar doesn't change dates unless it's switched off and on again, took it back got an exchange this one seems ok at the minute but the calendar still won't change date unless it's restarted.

Braxton. Contact your network provider it sounds like your sim is the problem. Just add to replace my ee sim after 4 months because it became invalid. Contacted ee saturday it seems like a lot of customer sim cards are failing. I hope this one does,nt fail cause i,ve only ad it less than a month so far.

Jayna I took it into Samsung to get them to check the phone there was a problem with the hardware apparently... then I took it to my service provider and they exchanged it, I've had this one a few weeks and it restarts itself now and again whilst I'm browsing on Facebook. It's nothing to do with my sim card.

I'm supposed to upgrade in December. I get so many problems though with my Galaxy S3 and S5, that I don't know if I should go for the Galaxy S2 or not. Their picture quality is good though and all that features.

I own an S7. It's by far, the best phone that I've had. Much better than my S6. Even though it's only got a 12MP camera, it performs extremely well. If you get one, you'll not regret it. |

I've had my S7 just over a month now... Gotta say I can't see a big improvement over my old S5. I got it because it was upgrade time and the mic on the S5 was a bit iffy, if I had researched the S7 first I probably wouldn't have bothered upgrading and just got the S5 mic repaired because I honestly don't see a vast improvement between them... I also feel the battery life on the S7 is a bit low. I've been in settings and done everything I can think of to improve battery life but still feel it drains pretty quick... If any of you techsperts have any advice I'd appreciate your help, thanks... |

@recurve, go to settings apps and look thru for stuff you will never use and see if the option to disable it or uninstall it exists. if you don't use things like facebook (a huge battery killer btw) to get live updates and you don't mind checking for email manually, turn off the sync option in settings. turn the brightness down when indoors and don't use the adaptive brightness option. the screen is the biggest battery killer you have. the most powerful things you can do to change battery usage (other than screen brightness) involve being rooted so you can use apps like amplify and greenify together. |

Cheers Mel... I've been to settings, apps and switched all to energy saving mode, only apps I don't use are pre installed and can't be deleted. I don't use Facebook and have turned off all notifications. GPS and Bluetooth are also off unless I'm using them... Guess it's just something I'll have to get used to and always make sure I'm fully charged before heading out. |

I have a galaxy a5 2016 edition and amazingly, it's (much) better than it's younger sister galaxy s5 lol eventho i hasn't got a notification led that I grew into hating and disabling it anyway, and only a 13 mpx against 16mpx camera it's way better by all means almost, at least I'm satisfied, and I don't plan another phone hopefully a cpl of years from now if this one is going to last me. It hasn't got Marshmallow on it yet but it doesn't matter to me. I still like Lollipop ![]() |

I got a S7 edge about 2 weeks ago, it is a nice phone, playing some big games on it like GT 2, Real Racing 3, Mortal Combat X, Darkness Reborn, Deus Ex, Implosion Never lose Hope etc, never had any lag, The only thing i dislike about the S7 edge is that it is very slippery in the hands, you need a pouch/cover for the phone. I downloaded about 20gb of games and is now out of space - Not sure if i must get a mem stick or mem card for all my files. What do u think ? Stick or card ?

a memory stick uses more energy to run than a standard memory card, plus it's the more accident prone out of those two. |
