why do man utd seemingly get to choose when they play aston villa? Maybe media portraying it wrong, but it does state that they had choice of which day to play the game which would be a complete joke |

The game is on sat as scheduled, sky offered them a sunday slot for tv and they refused.

The game was moved from Saturday to Sunday for TV coverage. When we were scheduled to play Porto on the Tuesday Sky offered to move it back to Saturday and we said leave it as it is.

i don't understand why you get the choice though as didn't think it happened on other occasions. Although maybe i'm wrong and the media are pouncing on it as anything utd and title race is they're hot news now

Our TV game with Everton last month was moved from Saturday to Monday then back to Saturday so that Everton wouldnt have to play twice in 48 hours.

the everton game was moved due to a fixture clash though, fair enough. This just seems to be a choice of when man utd want to play it

It wasnt moved for a fixture clash, it was so they wouldnt have to play twice in 48 hours. Sky having already moved this game once offered to move it again for exactly the same reason, so we wouldnt have to play twice in 48 hours We said no thanks leave it as it is. And as for dictating when you play, shouldn't you be looking a little closer to home?

OK, not a fixture clash as such but it was moved because of 48hrs, and there was no choice as far as i am aware. Unless your champ league game was tues afternoon you would have more than 48hrs too

Well obviously you do get a choice. What exactly is it that you're so upset about? Sky offering to move the game so we don't play 48 (52 for pedants) hours apart or us turning it down?
