The Euros are a little bit easier to win than a world cup though. England will win a world cup but not for at least a couple of decades

@ rah1 - 15.07.14 - 08:33am Never? Anything can happen in football. People may have said Brazil will never concede 7 goals in a world cup match. How about Greece winning Euro 2004? English players are vastly overrated and most are great club players but rubbish at international level .Gerrard as an example . The last proper great talent we had was gaza and i cant see anyone coming through with that sort of talent . Yeah its a team game but every great team has a great player in the middle and england dont |

And the youth structure and development has gone to s**t in this country .Even west ham that had one of the best youth systems in the country hasnt produced a good player for a long time . That and the fact like everything nowdays getting into football as a kid cost money and people just dont have it in this country at the moment , everything is so expensive . Even paying subs at sunday league level cost 60 pound a month for under 16's and a lott of single parents cant afford it so possible

future talents go unseen and never go anywere .Not saying sunday league footballers are the answer but it all starts at the bottom and kids nowdays are just not interested in football and you hardly see them in fields with jumpers as goal posts etc anymore , but go to spain or germany etc its a completely diffrent story
