Harry Redknapp has today said that while he was managing Spurs, some young England players actively tried to avoid representing their country at the national level because they didn't want the hassle/scrutiny it involves. He declined to name the players involved but also claims the problem is not confined to just Spurs. http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/27962633 He may not have named them but it can't be too hard to work out who they could be. So which young England players were at Spurs when Harry was in charge? |

Most probably regular bench warmers of england like lennon, king, defoe. Jenas might one of them too since he's a bit of a bad boy.

What about Michael Dawson? He was behind the pecking orders with players like john terry, ferdinand, carragher, king etc were all ahead of him.
