I think Fergie has been on a twelve month rolling contract since the gimps arrived. I know he didn't like negotiating with Edwards as he reckoned he never got the going rate with him.

@cantona | 9 May 13 | |
All we can do now is get behind him.

@viner | 9 May 13 | |
Let's see if the club get behind him in the transfer market as well as giving him a long contract.

@ viner - 9.05.13 - 05:12pm Let's see if the club get behind him in the transfer market as well as giving him a long contract. He could do a lot worse than sign a midfielder. He has to hit the ground running or the media will be on his back straight away. |

@gersbust | 9 May 13 | |
big clear out in the summer i reckon, anybody who reckons this is the end of utd is stupid, fergie will still be about if things get hard for him
|
||
@cantona | 9 May 13 | |
We were due a clear out anyway even if Fergie had stayed. If Rooney goes move Kagawa into his position then sign a top bollox midfielder. Looking at some of his targets for Everton over the years he does like midfielders. Fergie's failure to sign one was probably his biggest fault

@gersbust | 9 May 13 | |
rooney, anderson and nani leaving would give him a good start in the transfer market, who would you like to see him signing????
|
||
@stu7 | 9 May 13 | |
ferie wanted to go out on top,after winning the league i think even he knew winning it next season will be alot harder,chelsea and city will again stregthen and i cant see united winning the league,unless they spend big themselves,obviously signing ronaldo might swing things,id be delighted if i was a united fan and see rooney leave and see ronaldo and lewondowski come in
