anyone any ideas why the lastest update still not working for me? i run an Acer 5630 wiuth Vista but when downloaded i cant login at at all so have reverted to the old msn .any help? thanks :) |

no idea, but no pc I own runs vista, only xp or 7. Did you try running it in compatibility? Or as admin? What did the microsoft site say?

wlm 2011 wont log in fo me never has, I get rid of it and put the old one in and it works, I go back to the new one and the prob is back, strange though as ive got an emachines/acer too

delete all msn from add and remove then go to windows live folder and delete the folder wen finish use ccleaner to clean rigistry restart computer wen finish log on to cnetdownloads.com type in windows live messenger wen page come look to the left of ur screen choose ur operating system ,go back to search type in windows live messnger select the first link click run it will download the

installer then wait a minute after the installer is downloaded dont do anything a dialog box will appear click all the box then u can download windows live.note u must only use internet explorer to do all this i repeat only use internet explore to do all this this trick wont work with other browsers hope this help u

i delete the new version hated it, now i'm back to old version its much better
