Suddenly my laptop became silent when i turned that on last night. Sound hardware is working fine, even reinstalled its drivers, and even restored my system to few days back, but no luck. |

Well, i tried that as well... Installed latest driver from the website. Even volume panel is there and everything seems ok, but no sound. Can this be a problem with sound card? Or anymore suggestions?

Its IBM thinkpad. It has SoundMax integrated digital audio.

Try using a headphone if that works so the onboard sound card is broken

Take it to your nearest service center because it is not a external problem its onboard sound card
