I have an external hdd that i didn't use for a long time. Now,when i conect it ask to format! I have photos,movies and many docs and pdf on it that i don't whant to lose! Is there a prog or something that can help me to open that hard |

Use any bootable cd to view ur files check weather its works i mean accept ur drive without asking for format r use differnet cable for connecting ur usb HDD to Pc

Yes u can still backup ur data on another (removable) drive. All u have to do is get bootable image image of Acronis True Image

I was wandering if i can use a progr for that. I tried a few backup softwares but all were for after format recover.
