Tested dozens of live CDs from most of the major distributions and their forks and have ran mostly ubuntu and xubuntu as main GNU/Linux distros since 2007. dropped ''gnomebuntu'' at 10.04 for (obvious) reasons. Also using XP, Vista and 7 (Main OS) regularly.

I use ubuntu mainly. Great bit of kit and i also use myth tv on my media player, but i plan to swoop that to linux mce soon

Linux Mint 12 is very nice, good ui n not buggy, only issue @ moment is lack of customization

Yes i was looking @ it a few hours ago, put it on my laptop it failed doing a additional driver update half way through n fkd the entire os up, once restarted all i got was a wallpaper, nothing else.. Just installed uBuntu 11.10 as linux mint is nice just hardly any customization out yet for gnome shell 3

So far so good, more stable than Beta 1.. No touchpad bug @ moment.. If all is well will be keeping as Only Os on my Laptop

Really Impressed at how Fast!! It is, 11.10 Had a lag n the x64 version was laggy on my Laptop even tho my laptop is a decent Spe.. 1st generation i5 with HT with a nVidia Gt330m 500gb HDD n 4Gb DDR3 Ram.. 12.04 seems to be utilizing my Hardware a lot better, definitely worth the Download i'm using the x64 version

Im using 11.10 and im a little dubious about switching just yet till they bring out the stable ltr as i use it all the time 4 work

Why not download it n boot it in live cd mode n see what u think of it, its so much faster than 11.10 n the unity is better, its faster than Linux Mint 12 =)
