Strictly speaking, if you can set mp3s as ringtones, you should be able to set ANY mp3. The only thing which might be a problem is if it's a large mp3 and your phones internal memory is low. Since it's never going to ring for longer than 30 seconds or so, it might be worth cutting down the mp3 you wish to use. See my 'How to: cut mp3s' blog for help.

Thx 4 the advice ill check cuttin them down but the mp3 i want to use is actually smaller than the allowed ones there is plenty of mem on phone

Im on a SE J300i and your space depends on how many Java games and or pictures and videos u have too.Videos take up a lot of memory space so delete any u dont need.

Are you able to rename it on that phone? That might be worth a try as your phone could be trying to read some characters it can't understand. If yo can't actually rename it on the phone, run it through the cutter I mentioned earlier without cutting it as that'll rename it.

i have no trouble renaming it i think i might delete it and try another search for it on another site it might be my only way was thinkin would a unlocker help
