what do u want to use it for? If you've never used it before, initially it's amazing but then you get to learn the limitations like with zooming eg. the image really deteriorates if you try zoom in too much. But actually it's cool if you got a good internet connection else it's slow and ppl tend to get impatient waiting for the images to stream.

i don't know about better but there are others out there, in terms of free the google maps for phones is not bad. MGMaps is also good and it's free, see here - http://www.mgmaps.com/ - For more check out this link http://www.getjar.com/software/universal/all/Search/maps

just try out a few and see which you prefer, you know everyone's different. they all do pretty much the same thing but there may be one that you're more comfortable with
