First of all check on the net to see if your phone supports hscsd(high speed circuit switched data) tech...only then phone can be used as modem. If yes then connect usin data cable...install software for the phone...setup the modem usin the same settings you use for gprs on your phone n you'll be done.

Speeds wont be good but at least you will be able to browse the net...software should be available on se site. Never heard bout not bein able to view some sites!

you might not be able to view some sites because your providers server is configured in that way. t310 should have gprs support and therefore you should be able to connect via it. you should check on se site if there is some kind of modem driver 4 your t310. then make a new connection in your pc using this modem driver.

Well it worked but d*mn! It is slow! Connected at 9.6k But there must be a way for it to connect and run faster cause the T310 and T230 has the class 4 gprs with 3+1 slots. Each plot is capable of 14.4k so it must can in faster. Anyone knows how?

If your using xp it will see the mobile modem and install it without the need for special software... You will need to create a dial up connection tho... I know vodafone dial up is 07836 900884 user is vodafone@vodafone.net and password is vodafone... This is a gsm connection... To connect via gprs the dial up number is *#??#... You need to find the correct code that triggers your phone to connect

Let me answer all questions at once. First of all the t230 cant be used as modem. Next regardless of OS you'll be required to download modem scripts for your phone to get windows to recog it. Next you'll need either gsm or igprs. And finally for gprs dial no is *99***?# in this replace ? by the position of data acc in phone you wanna dial ie 1,2,3 etc
