depends what or who's browser you're using, if it came with the phone as opposed to being downloaded, it'll be the manufacturers browser not google's. I don't use stock browsers so I've no idea, but if it has a private mode it shouldn't difficult to find out how to use it. unless you have a Samsung and this involves KNOX, then rooting will mean it no longer let's you use it ...EVER ! |

pretty sure she meant Samsung Knox, it's some kind of encrypted storage that allows phones to be suitable business security and beyond and it's also permanently broken by rooting a Samsung phone that has it.
