Ok here's the step by step how to get free wap. I have a 6680 for this.. Enter Vodafone store. Purchase their payandgo SIM for 5pound. (SIM fit into my phone ok as contract o2 phones are standard unlocked..) When it loads up click wap and use the vodafone settings as followed... Be sure if you have a 6680 to click network settings and change you phone from dual mode to gsm |

This stops voda tryin to connect via 3g which wont work.. Also ask the sales person to remove content control if u haven't got a credit card handy.. Right settings coming up..

User name - wap, ip address - 212.183.137.012, port - 8799, access point - pp.vodafone.co.uk, homepage - live.vizzavi.co.uk. When you try connect if its unsuccessful, disconnect, and try reconnecting via voda live then switching to your pro bookmarks. Works for me.. Enjoy

Yeah do so.. Wasn't so smooth to begin with.. But once ya got it sussed you'll feel it is worth it.. Oh and when you get content control lifting just call *#100# to reveal your number.. Hopefully this post will stop all the other million 'is voda free?' posts.

Content control.. Its like filtered pcs. When you click a filtered page it doesn't reveal anything.. Same with phones. Only pretty much everythin outside of vodafone live is filtered.. You have to prove your over 18 and legal to view whats possibly adult material. The way you prove your age is by puttin credit card details in. They charge a quid (u get 2.50back in credit) and they lift the bars

Obviously only over 18s can have credit cards. Debit cards wont work so don't try.. Or you can pop into ya local voda branch and get bars lifted with one mouse click. Just prove your age. Passpost etc.. Dunno about calling up sorry mz.canny..

Well i just strolled into the voda shop and he did it straight away without even asking my age. I'm 21 but look pretty young! Haha just talk to them alot beforehand.. Act cool and then they'll just think ya sound and wont bother askin for age..

Ahh yeah.. Buy a new one for a fiver. Leave it unregistered. Forgot to mention that point.. Mine is still unregistered and i'm online now..
