A new update on Chrome for Android now offers data reduction. It uses Google Cloud to compress images and such to save your data usage, but is kind of buggybon sites that use SSL encryption. Those sites can be identified when you see https in the URL. If you have already updated Chrome and skipped the data reduction, you can find it in Bandwidth Management in the Settings menu.
