Vertu phones are always very expensive...theres even a helicopter pickup service...

One day I'm definitely getting one, there is a Vertu Boutique near me, everytime I walk by I look in, there is a maximum of 3 people that I've seen in there, and the phones look incredible. They are made out of very expensive materials like sapphire glass for the display, aluminium or titanium with vulcanised rubber and leather on the body, and they can also add diamonds etc.. depending on how you design your Vertu. Their audio chip and headphones are done by Bang and Olufsen, and if I'm not mistaken the ringtones are also done with them, performed by an orchestra, and then there's the Concierge service as datutm pointed out...its the Rolls Royce of phones, in New York and some other cities there are even c*cktail bars and restaurants made specifically for Vertu users, the concierge service gives you access to these, its simply amazing, I want that Vertu Signature Touch one day.

Why didn't I know about this? I thought my Galaxy S series phones were top of the range.

are Vertu handsets still made by Nokia?

no I think they were a company that Nokia bought and then sold off again...
