Adblock Plus is one of the most populardesktop browser extensions, but so far ithasn't had a real presence on mobile. Thatstarts to change today with the betarelease of Adblock Browser , an Androidbrowser that blocks ads by default. Theapp is built off of Firefox's open-sourceAndroid browser, so you know more or lesswhat to expect if you've used that before. http://www.theverge.com/2015/5/20/8631877/adblock-plus-browser-android-beta-release |

I use the mother of all adblocks host file. with opera mobile it just shows various advert sized squares saying opera was unable to load this page blah blah where the ads would be. it also blocks a fair proportion of in app ads too.
