If the Z5 Premium is not a success then they deserve to die away like Nokia and Siemens, in all honesty. Yep, their build quality, poor marketing, average camera performance and average displays have all lead to their poor performance. It seems ever since the SE P990 they sustained damage they could never again repair. Literally ever since Symbian UIQ3.0 SE/Sony have had a difficult time, they had a spark of good between 2010-2012, but its been mostly poor. They are forever restructuring. |

Sony have had odd build quality issues with back glass cracking and flaps coming off or not keeping water out as advertised. Samsung haven't had these issues, especially in the last 14months since the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4, Samsung build quality has surpassed most in the industry recently.

..as for me, I'm not complaining about Sony's build; on the contrary, from the very Z appearance I adored that front and back glas, even recently I've got again (for the 3-4th time) 'old' Z Ultra, enjoying again in its huge screen..

..Z5 camera I wouldn't call 'average', lol; still I've skipped those releases, waiting for the (again rumoured) Z5 Ultra in March 2016, hopefully with the new 820 cpu, same 23 mpix camera, 'round 4000 mah battery AND great 6.4 inches screen, like it has to be at Ultrazzz..
