Good day. I want to buy a new SD-card. My phone is not of the newest. So I want to know if all SD-cards are the same? That is; do all of them fit on all phones? Thanks |

your phone (unless it's REALLY old) more than likely takes the micro SDcard size. everything that size will work from 8 to 512gb but they're not all the same. the differences boil down to it's read write speeds, the higher the class number, the faster the card writes. the newer the card range the faster too again. don't buy a no-name brand, best pick from SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung, Toshiba etc. |

Chances are if you have an older phone with a limit of 32 gigabytes or smaller, then you will probably see no benefit of getting a fast card like the evo series. You just don't have enough processors to take advantage of how fast they are.

if your phone can record 1080p video then you need a class 10 card for it to be fast enough.
