Now i'm thinking getting this phone on upgrade just want know is it gd android phone does it load up fast etc and is it beta then the symbain n8 phone which ive also been looking at thanx |

It's a great phone, go for it. In terms of speed, software, 'power', support, modibility etc... the Desire trumps the N8, the only part where the N8 beats it is Camera, so if the Camera isn't a big deal then take the Desire and enjoy the open world of Android. :)

n8 also beats it with hdmi out, usb host, 5.1 surround sound and it has a better loud speaker and more internal memory. theres not much in it tbh

if you want super fast phone with great fast ui and open source with a massive app market and growing full flash internet and more then go for the phone of the year 2010 but its battery aint that great.. if you want as others said good camera and loudspeaker to chav it up on a bus then the n8 is your baby, i cannot vouch for the battery on n8 as i havent used one for that much.

so the htc desire is the superior but for cam go for n8, bare in mind you are in an android forum.. the s60 forum would prob vote in favour of n8. your choice
