Ur probably nt gonna get a late model 'quick' car for that money. If u want cheap and quick, get a j*p import.

You'll get a 05 plate and before EP3 for that money. Mind you also need run and insure these cars. You'll get a mk4 gti for under 4k. A facelift EP3 a 53 plate onwards is what you want - they are quicker. Very reliable too. All personal preference to be honest

Just realised your in Africa but j*p engines are very reliable and the EP3 was one of the quickest whilst it was a current hit hatch

Quicker than the 01 plate model. They made Several changes as well as making the car slightly lighter and some body tweaks for better aerodynamics and engine and gearbox tweaks shaved 0.2 of a second over the 0-60 time. EK9 was much quicker than the EP3 however they are still 5.5/6k
