Can a faulty mass airflow sensor cause a car to throw a throttle postion sensor code? Just wondering as i know the maf sensor is faulty but its only throwing a tps code. |

Possibly, one sensor failure can cause a chain reaction of faulty readings depending on the engine performance computer.

I've had an array of codes all to do with induction, namely TPS and MAF, when the fault was a blocked catalyst!

check the wiring follow the tps wiring as far as you can and test the wires for breaks IE disconnect your battery and tps and check with a multi-meter on buzzer setting
