The Japanese came up with a digital companion, you talk to it, it can learn, it remember conversations, and even get to know your moods by measuring your tone of voice....the latest model reminds the elderly to take their pills, and insist that you tell it when u have done so. I think its kinda cool, it will phone for help when it goes ignored, remind u when your soapie is on, switch on lights etc, etc....would love one...saw it on the telly.. |

Every now and then it would make noises like a parrot, saying things, just to keep up the illusion that you are not alone...You can give it a name, it will answer to that name, as well as basic coversations, .They can tailor it for different needs, but if I was to improve it, I would add an automatic pill dispenser, surely they can do that?.....it even reminds u to lock your doors at night, depending on the fully customisable program according to your needs.....but its not a cheap gadget.....
