Any good feature length anime/manga films out this years? The girl who leapt through time was good. Last year the was tekkonkinkreet and paprika, both excellent. Where are the good 2009 films? |

I preferred Paprika to Treasure Town because of the amazing musical score. If you listen to Parade and don't smile you lack a soul.

Yep sorry I consistantly fail to pr*nounce Tekkonkinkreet so I stick to the slack jawed English. I'm not sure what to look out for this year. I usually just follow the main Japanese studios and online fanzines, although I'm out of the loop. The last I saw which impressed me visually was Steamboy. Thing is I find it hard to be selective with Anime or Manga. I'd even like a feature lenght version of Lupin, Shin-Chan, Agent Aika or Goldenboy
