Enjoyed Fallout3 but New Vegas was rubbish. Even a flippin nuclear apocolypse couldn't wipe out the elvis fans.

alver that trailer is old now but still awesome. I spotted the fake immediately. hello darkness my old friend was a song by Simon and Garfunkal. but because it was made in 1964 it conflicts with fallout's alternate timeline. I think everything up to 1950s is historically correct, then their universe skewed off into an alternate tangent. futuristic settings were coupled with old world ideals. for example, in 2077 our world will be advanced with barely any signs of mid 20th century lifestyles.

in 2077 fallout universe they still adopted 50s living. you could still hear the words in songs, stepFord style wives made their husbands dinner after he had a hard day at the office. removing his trilby hat whilst his son comes in from playing in the park. old fashioned radios still exist and cars look futuristic but as though designed from a 50s perspective. in short, fallout is a terrifying glimpse of the future from a mid 19th century view. its fkin great

two slice toasters and cookers powered by nuclear energy. button technology and a patriotic ideal in the heart of every America citizen
