...Sony did not say much about used games. The company said the PS4 will play used games, however, it didn't say in what manner. The big question is, why would EA drop online pass if both the PS4 and the Xbox One are not doing similar things? Food for thought.

Remember, the PS4 will also install games to the hard drive, this could mean a similar DRM thing in the pipeline. Microsoft might be waiting to for E3 to show the games, but at least the company gave straght answers for burning questions.

Also, these used games restrictions etc are things demanded by developers. If Microsoft alone does it, the Xbox One could very well achieve more third party support than the PS4, and I don't think Sony wants to be on the sidelines there. Look at the Wii U, do you really believe EA won't suppot it because they are unable to scale Frostbite 3 for it? It's ll about this very same used games scenario.
