Cant wait for summer of arcade full stop. Insanely twisted shadow planet, bastion, from dust, and Toy soldiers: cold war should all be fab. Jurys out on fruit ninja kinect tho

Less than a week to go to play the spiritual successor to populous. Blimblim from gamersyde is raving his t*ts off about it, said he's thinking about it even when he isn't playing it. Exactly the sort of game, thats a treat over the summer downtime, when theres not much else out, and you can dwindle away hundreds of hours with a god sim. Perfect!

All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi, far from suicidal, still I get the tendencies bringing back the memories that I really miss, when I reminisce rocking back in the eighties Durst.

9/10 from Edge Magazine, which is nigh on perfect from them.

Sounds like it could be another decent multi format title

out a month before the PC version (when there'll be far to many retail releases to play), and probably a year before it hits PS3

From Edge: This is a strategy game on the outside, but in its secret heart it's a lot more than that, Edge says. Few games can offer this kind of scale and organic growth, few push you towards switching tactics with each rhythmic wash of the tides, and few are as convincing - or as gritty and robust - in their simulations.

It adds: The payoff is a god game that's genuinely worthy of the genre's name: a prolonged and intricate rumination on the punishing forces of nature that makes you feel the duty - and the joys - that great power brings with it.
