@ guillium - 16.05.13 - 01:10pm Bit stupid releasing it on PS3 so close to release of the PS4. It's not even this it's the fact they are talking about all this dlc support after as well. Waste. They must have known a year ago nearly about ps4 at least six months and by the time the thing launches they could have been a full year into development for it. They just didn't have enough staff to build this sort of game. They were still working with 100 odd people on GT5 while most other big projects like that had ubisoft and EA throwing like twice that and more. |

It was all this talking that the models take ages to build well sure but many hands make light work. Ubisoft wanted AC games every year, they threw like 500+ people at it and it gets done in a year. Polyphony double their number of modellers, then they can build all the cars and tracks in 2 and a half years instead of 5. It is surprising how small the developer is considering the revenue it brings to Sony and how important the game and franchise is to them worldwide.

@ guillium - 16.05.13 - 01:10pm Bit stupid releasing it on PS3 so close to release of the PS4. There are around 90 million ps3 consoles out there .If only 10 percent buy the game that's a big profit for sony . The ps4 wont have the userbase to warrant a release and sony know that there are lotts of gt fans , Makes sense |

What's going to tempt the GT crowd more to the PS4 it it has a nice shiny next-gen GT game on launch? Though it does show that Sony still intend to supportt PS3 for a while yet. If I am tempted to get one on launch, or close to launch, I'm likely going to run both under the TV for a whille. Need to get a bigger TV cabinet with more shelves though |
