Are England relying too much on box kicks currently?

@ 9362 - 3.02.21 - 02:41pm Are England relying too much on box kicks currently? No. England weren't relying on box kicks for anything. |

They kicked a lot out of hand because the space was behind the back 3 because of rush defences. That is just territory control. What they rely on is the strength of the kick chase and relentlessly battering the gameline and dominating the collision. They attack where the space is. England haven't won a single game with box kicks but they do win games with ruthless multiphase attacks and some really good tries.

Think Wales may struggle a bit. Good team but don't look as strong defensively now Sean Edwards has gone

I think Scotland are going to be tough. Very good backline and backrow. I think there front 5 will have to be on top of their game to compete with the power in in the England front 5. But I will imagine they fancy it with Mako, Marler, Sinkler, Launchbury and Underhill missing. They are significant absences not just through them being world class players but their experience and onfield leadership roles. Looking forward to it and I hope it's a really tight last second victory effort.
