Dafuq do i wanna go on holiday for? Once you've seen one sunset beach you've seen em all.

I'm scared of getting taxed on the winnings. Would be better taking that holiday.

Edit: Looks like there won't be any taxes. But still will lose value due to inflation. The holiday will become way more expensive in the future so to me it's a no-brainer going for that holiday.

The holiday might be on special offer two weeks later..many holidays do get reduced. Have to think of it both ways Trunky.

Take the cash as dont do holidays

I'd take the cash and then use it to pay for a holiday somewhere closer and cheaper that i'd chosen myself, that way you still get a holiday and have some cash left over to spend as your holiday money when you get there.

I had a classmate during primary school who won a trip to the Bahamas or to accept a cash prize. He told me he's glad he took the holiday as the cash prize was much less than what an actual vacation costs now. He enjoyed every minute of it.
